✓ KUCCPS opened its 2026 placement application window from April 7 to May 6, 2026 — this covered university, TVET and general placements for the 2025 KCSE cohort. That window has now closed.

✓ KUCCPS has officially stated that candidates interested in the September 2026 KMTC intake will be able to apply online after university placements are finalised — meaning the KMTC-specific September window comes as a separate, later phase, not bundled with what already closed.

✓ This includes students who repeated specific subjects to qualify for KMTC programmes — you are covered under this same window.

✓ KMTC has two official intakes every year — March and September. September has run every single year without exception.

What is NOT yet confirmed:

✗ The exact opening date for the September 2026 KMTC application window — KUCCPS has not published a specific date yet, only that it comes "after university placements are finalised"

✗ The exact reporting date for the September 2026 intake

If you deferred in May:

Your deferment letter should state your specific reporting instructions. If it doesn't — contact your campus admissions office directly at admissions.kmtc.ac.ke. Do not rely on Facebook groups or third-party sites for your specific reporting date — several fake pages have circulated incorrect dates already this year.
