If you've been meaning to apply and keep pushing it to "tomorrow" — tomorrow is the deadline. There is no more room to wait.

Where to apply — depends on your situation:

✓ New applicants (certificate and diploma programmes) — apply through the KUCCPS Student Portal at students.kuccps.ac.ke

✓ Already working in healthcare and upgrading your qualification (in-service programmes) — apply through the KMTC Admissions Portal at admissions.kmtc.ac.ke

What you need ready right now: ✓ Your KCSE index number and result slip ✓ National ID ✓ A clear list of your preferred courses and campuses, in priority order

Before you submit — double check: ✓ You meet the minimum entry requirements for your chosen course ✓ You've actually clicked SUBMIT, not just selected courses — a saved but unsubmitted application does not count ✓ You're using the correct portal for your situation — pre-service vs in-service

A final reminder: Already placed at a university? You can still apply for KMTC — the two are not mutually exclusive. Already applying for a transfer? That's a separate window, running until August 14 — don't confuse the two.

The process is completely free. Anyone asking for payment to "secure" your slot, fast-track your application, or apply on your behalf is a scammer. KMTC and KUCCPS do not use agents.

Once midnight passes tomorrow — this window is gone. The next one is not guaranteed to open again until 2027.
