How the App Works

SSA Benefit Calculator uses the Social Security Administration's official benefit formula — your Average Indexed Monthly Earnings (AIME), the annual bend points, and the resulting Primary Insurance Amount (PIA) — to estimate your monthly retirement benefit based on the earnings and claiming age you enter. Your input data never leaves your device.
